Close to his right hand there seems to be the same item as the one depicted in the book?

Tolemius tient un livre dans sa main gauche avec une inscription (sur la page de gauche) et un dessin (sur la page de droite) qui semble être soit un instrument sous une représentation de l'univers (un astrolabe) ? Près de sa main droite on aperçoit ce qui semble être le même item que celui représenté dans le livre ? « Je serais porté à penser que l'instrument qui apparaît près du Tolemius du manuscrit de l'Ambrosiana de Milan est un astrolabe. On s'attendrait que l'illustration du livre soit une carte du ciel, vu le contexte. Mais tout cela est de la pure conjecture.
