This portrait of Ptolemy was inspired from the Andrea Pisano relief. This bust floats in the geocentric universe of Ptolemy. Its millenery predominance will be soon overcome by the scientific revolution that will emerge from Copernic's heliocentric theories announced by the birth if this important scientist. The inscriptions refers to the birth of Nicolas Copernicus, the Earth in the middle the panisphere, the Sun at the bottom right. Inscriptions: left "[Na]issance de Nicolas Coperni[c]"; on the four corners "7F RÉPUBLIQUE DU BURUNDI"; in the middle of the celestial planisphere "La Terre"; over the bearded head "PTOLÉMÉE"; each circle is identified by the name of its planet including the Sun with its rays at the bottom right.
